Reporting

Vision Academy issues a report card each trimester and holds parent-teacher conferences three times each year. In between report cards, parents receive a Mid-Quarter Progress Report of their students’ grades halfway through the trimester.

Parents and guardians can check various reports and their child’s progress online through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal anytime. The “Reports” tab allows for generating a variety of information.

  • The Missing Assignments report lists any assignment marked “missing” in the teacher’s grade book.
  • The Schedule report prints the student’s current class schedule.
  • The Report Card prints the student’s posted course grades.

Vision Academy shares internal diagnostic results with parents, as well. These are taken from internal assessment tools such as i-Ready, and external assessments such as the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) tests. I-Ready diagnostic assessments are given three times yearly to measure students’ academic standing and growth in Reading and Math. The PSSA tests are given each Spring to students in Grades 3-8 to measure students’ level of proficiency in relation to state standards. Score reports from both assessments are sent home to students’ families, and school personnel are available to discuss the reports upon request.

Standardized Test Results

ESSA Federal Report (The Future Ready PA Index) is a collection of school-progress measures related to school and student success. The index includes a range of assessment, on-track, and readiness indicators to report student learning, growth, and success more accurately in the classroom and beyond. The Future Ready PA Index contains the most recent data available.

Parents and guardians can contact Dr. Coll, the principal, at coll@vacharter.org  with additional questions about their child’s report card.
